Scott Schinlever is an EFI Senior Vice President and the General Manager of the company’s VUTEk superwide format printer, Rastek wide format printer and Ink product lines, which are all integral to the company’s industry-leading Inkjet business. Scott is responsible for financial performance, bringing new products to market, driving operational excellence, cultivating key partnerships, and building brand equity across these lines.

Scott became part of the EFI team in 2005 with EFI’s strategic acquisition of VUTEk, which was founded in 1988 and pioneered the superwide format inkjet printer category. He had joined VUTEk in 2001 as Vice President of Marketing and was promoted to the role of EFI Vice President and General Manager of EFI’s Ink business in 2005. Subsequently, Scott took on additional responsibilities for the Rastek wide format product line before being promoted to Senior Vice President and General Manager for EFI’s VUTEk product line as well.

Previously, Scott was Vice President of Strategic Marketing for Xerox Corporation’s Office Systems Multifunction division, prior to which he held positions of increasing responsibility in product marketing and strategic planning at Xerox. He developed and led a strategic marketing team to turnaround Xerox’s $3 billion+ networked multi-function/copier product line. He also developed the strategy that led to Xerox’s acquisition of the Color Printing Division of Tektronix.

Additionally, Scott has experience with a VC-backed telecommunications start-up that went public, and he founded and ran a small graphics software company.

He holds a bachelor’s of science degree in Managerial Economics from the University of California at Davis and a master’s degree in Business Administration from Duke University.
