EFI Radius Co-Chairs Educational Conference at Labelexpo
As a leading provider of ERP/MIS software for packaging, and with eight of the eleven largest label companies running its enterprise software, the EFI Radius group has enjoyed a longstanding relationship with the Tag and Label Manufacturing Institute. This year EFI Radius was honored to be asked to cochair the educational conference at Labelexpo.
An educationally rich agenda was developed including a session to provide attendees with the unique opportunity to learn from four of the leading executives in the Label industry. The Tag and Label Manufacturing Institute and EFI Radius’ General Manager, David Taylor brought together four CEOs from leading converters for a special CEO Luncheon where they each shared some of their leadership acumen with attendees.
The four industry veterans spoke of their experiences as leaders of multimillion dollar corporations during the Label Expo Conferences from 10:30 to 12:30 on September 15th. Frank Gerace, President and CEO of Multicolor Corporation, discussed managing in a challenging economy. John McKeran, President and CEO of York Label, talked about creating a culture of cost performance. Geoffrey Martin, President and CEO of CCL, addressed centralized vs. decentralized operations and whether he makes most of his decisions intuitively or with a structured thought process. Finally, Terry Fulwiler, CEO of WS Packaging, and R. Stanton Avery Lifetime Achievement Award winner for 2010, shared his views on profit sharing.
The session was moderated by EFI’s David Taylor who commented, “We are pleased to have worked closely with the TLMI and Tarsus on an event that provides such a unique and valuable opportunity to gain insight into the experiences of four industry leaders, several of which are our clients.” The CEO luncheon was well attended and very well received. |
