PrintSmith’s Credit Card Processing

As many of you know, we have recently gone through a process to become PCI compliant. What that means is that PrintSmith is certified to handle your credit card transactions without the risk of having your customers’ credit card information susceptible to theft. We have built safeguards into PrintSmith that allows us to store credit card information and make it available for applying customer payments while never allowing the information to be seen or compromised. PCI compliance allows us to offer credit card processing to protect our users against fines and lawsuits for those of you that keep customer credit card information in an unsecure manner.

We are also working with Termnet, a credit card merchant specializing in the printing industry, to try and get our users the best price possible for the credit card transaction fees. The feedback we have gotten so far is that Termnet has been successful in saving our users money and giving them advice on ways to decrease the fees. For those of you that are happy with your current merchant, you can still use the credit card module and connect to your provider.
