EFI Proteus® serves as the IT hub for multi-department publishing operations by providing editors, art directors, sales managers, production managers and printers the ability to independently produce an issue, while working within a common software environment on a centralized file.

    • Proteus View is a read-only application that allows the user to access and view all data within a given publication file without having the authority to edit the information.
    • Proteus Foundation delivers an entry-level planning and mapping tool, enabling users to define a publication size and to create and place advertisements and edits and inserts based on specific placement requirements booked against them.
    • Proteus Professional offers all the features of Proteus Foundation and includes comprehensive presswork and cost management functions.
    • Proteus Gateway provides all Proteus Professional’s features and adds regionalization/editioning functionality and bindery and distribution cost management functionality.
