Among the print industry’s leading entrepreneurs, Marc was CEO and co-founder of Printcafe Software, Inc., a company EFI acquired in 2003 as a part of its long-term growth strategy. Prior to Printcafe, Marc co-founded and served for eight years as President of Prograph Management Systems. In addition to developing the first publisher-to-printer job specification system, the team at Prograph was instrumental in developing all of the magazine publishing industry’s major buyer-to-printer transaction standards.
In recognition of his innumerable contributions to the print industry’s advancement, Marc was awarded the National Association for Printing Leadership (NAPL) Technology Leadership Award in 2006. A stalwart proponent of industry standards, Marc has previously served as a Director of the Graphic Arts Technical Foundation and the Graphic Communications Association and on the advisory board of the International Cooperation for the Integration of Processes in Prepress, Press and Postpress Organization (CIP4), the standards body driving printing technology integration and the Job Definition Format (JDF). He is currently a director of National Printing Equipment Suppliers (NPES).
Marc received his bachelor’s of science degree in Graphic Communications Management and Applied Mathematics from Carnegie Mellon University.
