Toby Weiss CEO, Fiery Business

Toby Weiss joined EFI in early 2009 as a Senior Vice President and the General Manager of the company’s flagship Fiery business. He was promoted to COO of Fiery business in 2021. At more than 1.7 million installations worldwide, EFI’s Fiery color digital print server is the clear market leader, and Toby is charged with ensuring that Fiery remains the world’s most popular workflow. He is responsible for this business’s financial performance, bringing new products to market, driving operational excellence, cultivating key partnerships, and building brand equity.

Toby’s early successes at EFI include key initiatives for leveraging EFI’s Mobile and Cloud Printing leadership, expanding customers’ eLearning opportunities and driving on-time delivery of the industry’s highest quality print servers.

Prior to EFI, Toby was with Application Security, a leader in global database security software, where as president and CEO he was instrumental in leading the company to new growth. Prior to this role and for more than 12 years, Toby held numerous senior management positions with CA Technologies (formerly known as CA), one of the world’s largest IT management software companies. His tenure there included growing new business and culminated in his role as Senior Vice President and General Manager responsible for development, strategy, product management, marketing and support for the 800-person, $400M+ Security Management business.

Toby serves on the board of directors for the Electronic Document Scholarship Foundation. He holds a bachelor’s of science degree in Computer Science from the University of Michigan.
