A notice to our Customers
As communities begin to feel the impact of the coronavirus (COVID-19), we want to share with you the steps we are taking to help protect the health and safety of our customers, partners and our EFI team members, which is always our top priority.
We are closely monitoring local and national reports on the evolving impact of COVID-19. Based on guidance from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), the World Health Organization and applicable public health agencies, we have developed plans and established a task force that will allow us to respond in an appropriate and timely manner.
We have increased our housekeeping and sanitization efforts in all our facilities, distribution centers, and corporate offices worldwide. We are also asking all our team members to follow the CDC guidelines to prevent the spread of the infection.
A Work from Home policy has been implemented at EFI office locations worldwide through Friday, March 27. The policy applies to many of our team members, but for those in certain manufacturing, lab and facilities operations roles that require their presence on-site, we are working to implement precautions to increase safety at work.
EFI has implemented guidelines that instruct those team members who experience cold or flu-like symptoms to stay home and follow the CDC's instructions. We also have implemented guidelines for customer-facing employees to conduct more teleconferencing in lieu of face-to-face meetings as a means to further protect our customers and employees. We will still conduct, however, essential and/or emergency travel as necessary. EFI is also limiting in-person visits at our facilities to essential customer meetings and required deliveries.
EFI understands that you and your customers may be concerned with potential risks of disruptions of your supply chain with regards to EFI products. As a global organization, with multiple facilities and suppliers across the world, we have increased inventory levels for our ink and parts to help minimize impacts on product availability. We are also able to deliver our products to areas not currently impacted by local regulations limiting transport or travel. As always, we are committed to doing our best to meet your needs. Should you require assistance in ink or parts, please do not hesitate to reach out to us or your local distributor.
EFI cares about our customers, partners and team members, and at the core of our commitment to you is, Excellent Customer Service. This will not change, even as the situation evolves, and we intend to continue to meet the needs and expectations of our customers and teams.
We will continue to monitor the situation and adjust the actions taken as necessary to help limit the spread of this virus and do our part in helping to protect our valued customers, partners and team members during this time.
