Hit brand-critical color faster with eight-color printing (CMYK + Orange + Blue + two light inks). The result is an expanded gamut that reaches beyond CMYK to better match challenging Pantone® colors – especially oranges and blues – reducing proofing cycles and reprints.
Smoother gradients, richer tones, finer detail
Produce smoother gradients, natural skin tones, and clean pastels with the addition of light inks. With four-level grayscale, variable 4 pL to 18 pL drop sizes, and resolutions up to 2400 dpi result in crisp detail and smooth transitions for premium soft signage.
Production-level throughput
Keep high-volume production moving with production mode output up to 2,260 ft²/hr (210 m²/hr) and POP quality output up to 1,453 ft²/hr (135 m²/hr). The printer is also built for maximum reliability and multi-shift uptime, and features an automated printhead cleaning and capping station to keep the system up and running.
Inline fixation
Print and sublimate in a single step with EFI’s integrated platen and extraction technology. Graphics come off the printer ready for finishing without adding a separate heat press, extra floor space, or labor.
Application versatility
Expand what you can produce and profit from with direct printing on a wide range of polyester-based materials up to 3.4 meters wide. It’s deal for in-store/POP, SEG and backlit graphics, and exhibition and event backdrops, for example. Inline sublimation can be switched off for transfer paper workflows.
Lower ink consumption and waste
Improve job economics with EFI water-based, dispersed-dye inks, featuring higher dye concentration and less water for easier drying, plus up to 30% lower ink consumption than competitive units.
